Dhruva Jurel played well on day three, as he scored his maiden half-century in the fourth Test against England.

Dhruv Jurel made a statement against England at Ranchi on Day 3 with a composed innings of 90 runs in only his second Test. Dhruv Jurel paid tribute to his father, a veteran of the Kargil war, soon after he hit his half-century on the start of the third day of the Test.

Jurel was born in Agra on January 21, 2001. His father served in the Indian Army and was a stager of the Kargil war. He started playing justice at a summer camp in his academy. His innings included 6 fours and 4 sixes and he became the highest run scorer of the innings for India.Unfortunately he lost his first Test hundred when he was bowled by 90-year-old England spinner Tom Hartley.
