PM- Kisan Samman is a central sector scheme under government. of India aimed at perfecting growers ’ income and easing timely access to agrarian investments. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday unveiled the 16th tranche of the ₹21,000 crore Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman- Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme for over nine lakh farmer beneficiaries in Maharashtra’s Yavatmal. The money was transferred to the beneficiary’s bank account through DBT.

For eligible farmers enrolled under PM Kisan Samman Scheme is government provides an annual income subsidy of ₹6,000, payable in three equal installments of ₹2,000 — one every four months.
